Billing and Payments for Home Visit Physiotherapy

In the clinic, payment happens at the counter. On home visits there is no counter: just you, the patient's family and your phone. Physios who leave billing for later end up chasing money for weeks. The fix is to bill at the door, every time.

Make the bill from the appointment

Create the bill on your phone at the end of the visit, from the appointment itself, so the service, fee and patient are already correct. See GST bills.

Take payment there itself

A UPI QR code or payment link on your phone. Most families pay immediately. For those who cannot, send the bill on WhatsApp with a clear date.

Packages for long rehab

For stroke rehab or knee replacement recovery, a package paid in advance avoids collecting money at every visit. Track sessions used clearly. See treatment packages.

Show travel clearly

Whether travel is part of a flat home visit fee or a separate line, show it clearly on the bill. See pricing home visits.

Products sold at home

If you sell bands, a belt or a knee cap at a home visit, add it to the same bill and reduce it from stock together. See selling supports.

Weekly money check

Once a week, check pending bills and package balances. Follow up early and politely. See getting paid on time.
